Texas A&M
5 for 5 Campaign
2017
BUILD continued our tradition of transforming shipping containers into medical clinics through the completion of 5 more TAMCs. Each of these clinics will be dedicated to an Aggie Veteran, who played an essential role in the Allied victory in WWII, and their family. We continued our mission of uniting the student body by bringing a total of 1,900 unique student volunteers to site this year. In addition, we could not have completed our project with out the help of our adult advisors, who donated countless hours of their time to provide advice and expertise.

In 2017, BUILD was also honored by the Texas House of Representatives through a state resolution. Many BUILD members and supporters, traveled to Austin, Texas to see the dedication.

BUILD also served the state of Texas by partnering with BTHOHarvey to aid with disaster relief and donation collection. Our prototype clinic served as a sterile facility for Rockport EMS. In addition, many of our members traveled to various parts of East Texas, such as Houston and Rockport, to aid in disaster relief.
