Texas A&M
2016
BUILD 2016 was the third year that the organization transformed shipping containers into Texas Aggie Medical Clinics - this year we constructed five clinics instead of four. In April, we built a prototype clinic to keep and display as a finished example of our project. Furthermore, as usual we constructed four clinics during our fall project. We raised $105,000+ to fund our project and promote BUILD. We also had just under 1,500 students come out to volunteer and help construct our TAMC's this fall on campus. These units were dedicated to the following Aggies:
Tentative Clinic Destinations:
Clinic #9 Santa Cruz, Bolivia
Rotary Club-Santa Cruz
Clinic #10 Kratie Province, Cambodia
Community Health and Agricultural Development (CHAD)
Clinic #11 Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Fundación NOW
Clinic #12 Jordan
Edelweiss Foundation
Prototype Clinic: (retired in January 2018)
Dedicated to All Injured Aggies of Bonfire
